conscious life. It is what separates life
from death.
Nothing
is more important than our ability to sense
importance. It's the only thing separating
life from death. It's the only thing keeping
us alive. It's the only thing keeping us from
choosing death over life. It's the only thing
telling us that life... that our
life... is important. It's the only thing
making life important enough to live and fight
for. It's the only damn thing informing our
will, our desire, our instinct to live and
stay alive. It is the instinct for
survival.
